| Arrowe Park General Hospital is part of the Wirral Hospitals NHS Trust and serves the whole of the Wirral area with general and surgical requirements, as well as providing A&E and day care facilities for the community. D & A Systems were engaged by the Trust to replace the obsolete mains distribution switchgear for the x-ray, mortuary, kitchens, boiler house and plant rooms following frequent mains power failures and the unavailability of obsolete parts. |

The works were undertaken in phases commencing with the removal of the old panels whilst keeping supplies maintained at all times, the building and installation of the new equipment to the new positions, connection to the relevant cabling during out of hours shutdown periods and the removal of the obsolete gear from the site. The works were completed on time and within budget. |
